Give away the glory

Ever have a manager take the credit for your work? I have. How did that make you feel?

Ever have a manager glorify their contribution to a team effort? I have. What did you think was going on in the heart and mind of that manager?

Ever have a colleague steal an idea? I have. It's impossible to defend, isn't it?

Here's a recent example of big wigs, upper mucks, giving away the glory. After a huge win, that took many, many hands, each gave the glory away to the other, each praised the other, each was thankful for the gift of the shared win.

As a manager, I like to give away the glory and focus on being thankful for the win.
